Team Leader, Feeding (General Parts)

Overview

The General Parts Feeding Team Leader is a member of the Logistics Feeding team, responsible for the picking, preparation and feeding of general parts required for MOBIS module ensure that MOBIS can meet production assembly demands for all products. The incumbent develops and maintains the departments standard operating procedures, monitors, and evaluates team members and their efficiency, and manages parts flow across their section. Manages priorities and operations timeline to ensure timely receipt of parts to the production line.

Responsibilities

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and policies General Parts Feeding section.
• Ensure all work is performed by procedure, including picking of parts, sequencing of parts and delivery to the production line.
• Operate and Maintain Hyundai Powered Industrial Vehicles in accordance with published standard operating procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Achieve daily productivity goals by set by the Logistics Operations Section to enable Production requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure equipment condition is safe.
• Ensure OEM service parts and customer orders are properly handled within the warehouse.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Audit Team Members’ work for productivity and accuracy.
• Train newly assigned Team Members.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)

 

Required Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or 2 years equivalent industry specific experience required
• 1 to 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience in the Automotive industry (Preferred)
• Must meet expectation for attendance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal management skills

 

Preferred Education & Experience:

• SAP experience

 

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Powered Industrial Vehicle Certification (Preferred)

 

Working Conditions:  Walking and Standing on the production floor, occasional travel as needed.
