Your Role
The Manager of Cybersecurity & Privacy Governance is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of aptihealth’s technology policies, standards, and industry certifications. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operationalizing policies, standards, and processes to mitigate technology risks while reporting on cybersecurity governance in a manner that meets aptihealth’s requirements. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Product and Clinical Systems and will work across a broad range of business lines, regions, and stakeholders to implement practices that meet aptihealth’s defined policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a Governance framework for all aptihealth, addressing regulatory, industry and contractual obligations.
- Implement cybersecurity and privacy program transformation and culture change by advocating compliance with company policies, legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with and assist others within the organization to identify, select, tailor, implement, document, and assess security and privacy controls necessary to protect a system and/or organizational operations and assets.
- Develop and maintain standard processes for evaluating business and consumer risks supporting aptihealth’s cybersecurity and privacy program.
- Implement a regulatory monitoring program to evaluate impact of regulatory changes across the technology landscape and report periodically to business leadership on progress against requirements.
- Perform routine risk assessment and compliance activities to determine levels of risk, tolerance for policy, and determine policy impact on strategy.
- Align with cross functional teams to define and implement data protection and governance processes and technologies.
- Integrate security and privacy by design into software, systems, and architectures through designing appropriate processes, procedures, methods, and techniques.
- Develop incident response readiness, by creating and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide IT Compliance metrics and reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS in cybersecurity, information technology, or related field preferred.
- 5 or more years’ experience in cybersecurity or equivalent role required.
- 5 or more years' experience in HIPAA privacy and security required.
- Experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity and privacy policies, standards, and strategies required.
