- Monitor build progress, remove blockers, and ensure on-time, quality delivery.
2. Integration & Data Conversion Leadership
- Direct daily work of Integration and Data Conversion teams (FTE + Vendor SI partners).
- Oversee mapping, design, transformation rules, and unit test readiness.
- Ensure data quality rules + design decisions are consistently applied across releases.
3. Technical Governance & Design Coordination
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Platform/Module Leads, and Infra teams on solution alignment.
- Run daily/weekly build design reviews and enforce Quantum design standards.
- Ensure all cross-functional dependencies are identified early and managed.
4. Environment, Deployment & Migration Readiness

- Ensure Integration and Data Conversion cycles are aligned with environment refreshes.
- Manage version control, build transport strategy, and defect triage.
5. Quality Assurance & Testing Support
- Validate build artifacts meet Definition of Ready / Definition of Done.
- Support SIT, E2E, and PAT by ensuring all integrations and conversions are test ‑ready.
- Drive defect resolution across technical/functional teams.
6. Vendor, Partner & Cross Track Coordination
- Coordinate with delivery partners on build commitments.
- Work closely with Security, GRC, Reporting, Test, and Cutover leads.
- Escalate capacity or performance gaps early for leadership action.
7. Status Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Provide daily/weekly status to Build Track, Program PMO, and DBU SMEs.
- Communicate risks, issues, blockers, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure transparency across all workstreams.
8. Governance, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all technical documentation (integration specs, conversion rules, design docs) is current.
- Enforce compliance with Cummins security, data, and architecture standards.
- Support audit, readiness, and quality gates for each release.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Embed security and compliance by design: Apply security, privacy, and compliance standards across design/build/test/operate to balance protection, performance, and cost.
- Deliver high-quality software with solid engineering: Use the right languages, frameworks, and patterns to build solutions that are efficient, secure, scalable, and reliable.
- Treat data as a governed asset: Model, secure, and monitor data flows to ensure integrity, quality, and compliance—enabling trusted, scalable, and cost-aware data use.
- Work the modern engineering toolkit: Apply Agile/DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and IaC to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and reduce risk across the SDLC.
- Design for value and fit: Translate business needs into integrated architectures, patterns, and interactions that meet requirements and align with enterprise/platform standards.
- Keep skills sharp and future-ready: Maintain technical mastery through targeted credentials and continuous learning; experiment with emerging tech to identify high-impact insertion points.
