Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team at BBVA, a leading financial services firm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, developing strong talent pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to attract top-tier professionals in finance, risk, compliance, operations, technology, and related functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.
- Proactively source and engage top talent through various channels including LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for key roles and future hiring needs.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments and coordinate interview processes across various departments.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
- Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and relevant labor regulations.
- Represent the company at job fairs, campus events, and industry networking functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably within the financial services or professional services industry.
- Proven success in sourcing and placing high-caliber talent across a range of functions and levels.
- Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting tools, and sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Understanding of financial services roles and industry dynamics is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience recruiting for finance, accounting, investment, or compliance roles.
- Familiarity with diversity and inclusion recruiting strategies.
- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
- Certifications in recruiting (e.g., CIR, AIRS, SHRM-CP) are a plus.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $115,000 to $125,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
