Application Developer - Senior

Job Description:

Can be Remote

• Perform configuration, maintenance or writing new code to improve functionality of application software and translating system requirements into application prototypes.

• Analyze processes to code development planning, application, or design/ deployment of new and improving information systems solutions to meet the business requirements of customers.

• Solve issues/problems with applications to include root cause and propose solutions. Integrate new applications/IT systems to assure connectivity and user interface.

• Experience with Java 1.8, JSP, Struts 2, Apache Tomcat, Ant, , JDBC, SQL, HTML, Java, XML, CSS, XSLT, Git VCS, Database application development in Oracle 12c or later

 Required Skills and Experience:

• DoD 8570.1-m IAT 1 certification - A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP

• DoD 8570.1-m IAT 2 certification - Security+ CE, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CCNA Security preferred

• Secret Security Clearance

• US citizen

 Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

·       Preferred Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in mathematics, computer science, one of the physical sciences, engineering or a closely-related scientific discipline.

                                 Or

·       Associates degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

                                 Or

·       10 yeas of experience.
