Head Girl's Basketball Coach, Middle School (EX) (Current Opportunity) - Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Essex MD

The Middle School Girl's Basketball Coach is responsible for overseeing the athletic program. They will work with students of varying ages and abilities to help them develop healthy habits, build teamwork skills, and improve their physical fitness. In addition to this they are also being tasked with organizing and scheduling practice sessions, assessing player's skill and assign team positions, and maintaining supervision of each student-athlete under the care of the athletic program.

Essential Functions

• Create and execute instructional practice plans.
• Execute strength and conditioning plans.
• Develop student-athlete competence and confidence.
• Enforce team policies, beliefs, philosophies in sportsmanship, integrity, accountability, and perseverance.
• Some administrative work: Managing and tracking rosters, tournament registrations, monitoring attendance, confirming transportation, inventory management, and web-site management.
