(Job #548106) Administrator III, Senior Executive Director for Enterprise Services, Salary Range: $6,891 - $22,119 monthly. This is a full-time, benefited, exempt, 12-month pay position in the Enterprise Services Department. This position is an Administrator III in the California State University Management Personnel Plan (MPP). Under this plan, incumbents are subject to normal management reviews and serve at the pleasure of the University President. Position Summary:
The Enterprise Services leadership position provides high level financial oversight, revenue-generation, and building project planning and management within the self-support areas of Housing, Dining, Campus Stores, Children’s Center, Student Activities Center, Gutswurrak Student Activities Center, Campus & Events Services, Cal Poly Humboldt Presents, and others as assigned. Provides strategic planning to include facility needs/renovations, reserve sufficiency, and revenue growth beyond the break-even point. Responsible for major vendor contracts within these areas (ex: CBORD), as well as vendor service delivery (ex: Chartwells) including indirect supervision of vendor-designated employee liaisons (ex: Follett). The emphasis is on Housing in order to implement new building projects designed to accommodate enrollment growth targets, as well as Housing-related contracts and ancillary services that will need to expand to accommodate an increasing resident student population.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision – 30%
Work collaboratively with leadership in self-support areas to provide high-level financial oversight, revenue-generation, and project planning/management of buildings:
- Housing & Residence Life
- Supervising IT support for Dining and Bookstores & the interface with Housing
- Dining including all Chartwells financial incentive tracking, billing and reporting
- Campus Stores, including all Follett commissions, scholarship and textbook Access programs
- Children’s Center, including 4 grants and campus funding sources
- Student Activities Center, including Conferences & Event Services and Cal Poly Humboldt Presents
Strategic Planning – 20%
- Budgetary and projection planning support for reframed UC board retirement fund.
- Strategic planning to include facility needs/renovations, reserve sufficiency, and revenue growth beyond the break-even point
