Position Summary
The Community Outreach Program Manager provides programming in schools, community centers, and other locations where girls gather to provide social, emotional, and STEM learning opportunities. The position works closely with the organization's adult and membership teams, and establishes and builds relationships with schools in the eastern Missouri area.
At Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, most of our roles work in a hybrid capacity (in office, remote, and/or in the field). Details will be provided during the interview process.

The position is full time with a competitive starting minimum annual salary at $47,448.
Essential Job Duties
- Partner with assigned schools and communities to schedule programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned schools.
- Organize and facilitate virtual and in-person programs focused on STEM and anti-violence social and emotional leadership programs.
- Reach target populations in underserved and poorly represented Girl Scout areas.
- Maintain relationships with personnel at outreach delivery sites.
- Comply with all funding source and internal program requirements.
- Serve as a collaborative team member, working to advance the mission of Girl Scouts.
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Service, a related field or equivalent experience is required.
- Some relevant experience working with youth, including classroom teaching experience is preferred.
- Valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to our insurance carrier.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of the outreach curriculum and the ability to maintain the integrity of the curriculum during delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a good rapport with children and youth of all abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other general office equipment.
- Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to deliver programs confidently and professionally to groups of girls.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers, and to represent the organization in a professional manner.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
- Ability to work on evenings and weekends occasionally.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time operating a computer, including navigating websites, software platforms, spreadsheets and both electronic and paper documents.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copier, and computer printer.
