Senior Analyst, Enterprise StrategyOVERVIEWThe Global Open Banking and API team is responsible for developing and building the future of open banking and a developer-first approach that propels innovation with fintech and other partners, in support of realizing Mastercard’s multi-rail potential.
The Senior Specialist, Strategy will be responsible for supporting the development and refinement of our strategy alongside helping gather and analyze competitive insights to help create a sustained competitive advantage.

ROLE
The Senior Specialist will have a proven track record of working effectively in a team to drive to successful outcomes, exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. More specifically, the candidate will be responsible for:
Synthesizing complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods
Structuring ambiguous problems and developing a plan to solve them
Developing presentations, generating research insights, undertaking complex analysis to support recommendations
Building compelling business cases and drive buy-in to ensure execution
Conducting research – competitor & market Intelligence,
Supporting operations across the business, inclusive of budget management, quarterly business reviews, KPI tracking, Studio process, planning, and risk management
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or Information Technology fields
One to three years of professional experience with a major top-tier international management consulting firm, other professional services firm or an internal Corporate Strategy team.
Demonstrable success in one or more of the following:
Projects focusing on Product and Go-To-Market strategy
Projects demonstrating improvement in operational efficiency and implementation
Projects requiring in depth data analysis with associated recommendations
Professional, working knowledge of MS Office Tools – PowerPoint (produce clean and effective presentation slide decks for an executive audience), Excel (create statistical models, dashboards, etc. to perform/show the results of qualitative and quantitative analyses), Word (draft and publish collateral, proposals, memos related to strategy work)
