The Opportunity

 

Our International Tax and Transaction Services team is looking for a new highly motivated, experienced team member to join our team in Helsinki as a Manager in our Transfer Pricing competence. 

 

Our team continues to grow and excel in advising our domestic and international clients in their international tax matters, providing practical and valued solutions to managing their tax matters. Your key responsibilities

 

As a part of our team, you will play a significant role in supporting our clients in their wide-ranging tax issues. Depending on your background and interests you can support with varying transfer pricing matters or also support with other international tax questions. The position offers challenging and varying tasks in the field of taxation, which can, depending on the person, include the following:

 

• Support in various tax proceedings, e.g. advance ruling applications and appeals, MAP and APA processes in the field of transfer pricing
• Transfer pricing operating model design for multinational enterprises and transfer pricing policy planning
• Managing transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking study preparation
• Subject matter support in transaction tax work, such as in due diligence processes
• Tax advice related e.g. to permanent establishment issues, withholding taxation and other day to day cross-border tax questions and cross-border structuring

 

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

To qualify for the role, we expect you to have:

 

• A suitable Master’s level academic degree 
• 4+ years of suitable work experience (e.g. as a tax consultant, tax lawyer, an in-house tax role, or from the tax authorities)
• Great spoken and written Finnish and English communication skills

 

 

Ideally, you will also have

 

• Experience from supporting the work of more junior colleagues
• Experience from project management with cross-border teams
