About the role

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for delivering business value through effective project management of multiple small strategic deliverables of assigned programs across multiple regions and medical groups of Providence St. Joseph Health and is accountable to the Executive Sponsor for the assigned programs.  This position is responsible for the identification and securing of all program resources, logistics, communications, and staffing and for identifying and coordinating the resources, logistics, communications, and staffing required for any overlapping projects.   Completion to be within the constraints of scope, time, budget and quality identified.  Position promotes cost effectiveness and operational efficiency in the oversight of the projects and communications that align to the St. Joseph Heritage and PSJH strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three years: Managing/coordinating multiple small to medium size projects to achieve identified project milestones or objectives.
  • Use of prior project management methodology.
  • Lean or Six Sigma exposure.
  • Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with a professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management experience in an ambulatory care environment
  • Experience with Lean Production.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
