Job Description

NETZSCH Pumps USA is seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing team based in Exton, PA. The Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of project orders by assisting with project coordination, documentation, communication, and technical clarification. This position will report to the Project Manager and work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues.
  • Support project document control, submittal creation & review, coordination of drawings and documents with internal and external teams.
  • Become a dependable technical consultant for NETZSCH products and offerings.
  • Support procurement with analyzing supplier quotes to maintain project profitability.
  • Maintain and organize project schedules and coordinate bill of material engineering for critical items through project life cycle to ensure quality and on-time-delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's (4-year) degree in Engineering or related technical field.  In addition, applicants should have:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and prepare applicable technical information & suggest design/process changes to ensure simple, functional, & cost-effective results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, for budgeting, estimating, and cost-analysis.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly, efficiently, and proactively.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with an open and willing attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. MS Project proficiency is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system is strongly preferred.
