Job Description

This position will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days/week onsite from our North Chicago headquarters.

Purpose

The HR Manager is a strategic and trusted partner to the business, helping to shape our culture, support our business strategies and deliver the talent necessary to make a remarkable impact on AbbVie and patients around the world. This role is responsible for leveraging best-in-class HR practices to continually create, deliver, and support programs that establish AbbVie as an employer of choice while empowering all employees at all levels of the organization. This role will serve as a strategic HR partner to multiple VPs in our AbbVie Quality & EHS organization in the Operations function, to develop and implement people strategies and tactics that support the business plans and the achievement of both short-term and long-term strategic objectives.          

The Operations Quality & EHS organization is made up of 3,500 employees around the world and is responsible for instilling a shared quality culture that protects our patients by ensuring products are safe, effective, and available.
