We are looking for a talented and motivated Hardware Compliance Program Manager to join Zscaler's team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all hardware components meet global compliance standards.  The Hardware Compliance Program Manager will play a critical role in owning the end-to-end program strategy, execution and risks to ensure hardware associated with the introduction of new products meet the applicable compliance standards.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Staff Program Manager to join our Global Security Compliance Team. Reporting to the Director, Technology Risk &  Compliance, you'll be responsible for:

  • Driving the overall execution of programs aimed at achieving and maintaining certifications that require coordination with external vendors and testing laboratories to ensure that Zscaler products meet global compliance standards (e.g., NIAP/CCEVS, FIPS 140-3, TAA).
  • Developing documentation and processes that account for hardware compliance requirements early in the design phase and enhancements to supply chain controls as well as collaborating with manufacturers to identify and secure any new certifications needed for entry into new countries, while also monitoring the expiration dates of existing certificates.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Legal and other key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the launch of new Zscaler products are successful adhering to global compliance standards, as well as tracking all certifications required for export/import globally for Zscaler hardware platforms.
  • Assisting the broader compliance team with addressing control gaps and contributing to the success of ongoing audits and working closely with the teams by researching and specifying regulatory and industry certification requirements.
  • Working with Regulatory agencies, both domestic and international, and with manufacturing partners to test and ensure all in-production devices remain compliant with all certifications as well as assisting with performing and managing compliance team internal audits and control reviews.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 8+ years of experience working in industry standard compliance frameworks and technical program/project management roles for various types of product compliance requirements.
  • Experience in electrical and safety certification processes of various electrical and electronic equipment and familiarity with a variety of standards for diverse product categories.
  • Experience in program or project management, auditing, and/or control framework development and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of Industry standard compliance frameworks and Cyber Security Best Practices along with the ability to work with international auditors as needed on global compliance certifications.
  • Bachelors or Masters in computer engineering, or relevant field Skills and Experience.  In addition, U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to the nature of the customers assigned to this role.
