Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accounts Payable and Receivable Analyst to join our team at Accutrol. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a combination of education and professional experience to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of accounting tasks. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Enter vendor’s invoices in the ERP system with attention to detail.
• Accurately match invoices with purchase orders, check invoice quantity, unit price and extensions, and verify all information to ensure accuracy.
• Process checks weekly and initiate ACH Payments.
• Prepare weekly expense report payment.
• Deposit checks with remote deposit machine when needed.
• Invoice customers’ orders and apply customers’ payment to their account.
• Prepare sales reports for the month-end closing.
• Prepare Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation at the month-end closing.
• Filing vendors and customers’ documents.
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities as requested by Manager.
• All other related duties as required.

• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to exhibit poise, composure, and confidence when confronting stressful or high-pressure situations
• Personally exhibit a strong commitment to dependability and reliability with the ability to gain the confidence and respect of the customer base
• Hands-on, self-starting, disciplined, and detail-oriented individual with the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment that requires a product that is highly accurate and timely
• High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, MS Word)

Education and Experience Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required
• 1-3 years of experience in AR and AP preferred.
• Understanding of internal controls and accrual accounting.
• Customer service skills, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, ability to work with a team, critical thinking, organizational skills, computer skills appropriate to the position, sense of urgency
• Microsoft Office products experience (Excel, Outlook, Word primarily), with an emphasis on Excel proficiency
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver assignments on time
• Macola experience a plus
