Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Contracts Management professional. In this role, you will manage multiple contracts and support the capture and negotiation of new contracts. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of finance, negotiations, and critical analysis. This position is a part of the Early Career Development Program (ECDP) within the Finance and Business Operations (F&BO) function.

The program is approximately 2.5 to 3 years in duration (may vary based on employee’s start date), and typically consists of a standardized training curriculum, various learning and networking opportunities and formal mentorship, all of which are designed to provide a broad background in various facets of F&BO at Lockheed.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law or Legal Studies, Supply Chain or Project Management.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to develop internal and external relationships

Must be detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment; Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-start who can work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance

Desired skills

Prior experience in the contract life cycle including proposals, negotiations, administration, and close-out

Prior experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
