FTE: 0.9 Full-Time, Shift: Nights, Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00pm - 7:30am), rotating weekends. Candidates must have open availability, as specific schedules or patterns cannot be guaranteed.
Department-Specific Requirement
Must have prior RN experience in ICU or PCU/Step‑Down nursing. This role requires flexibility to float within the hospital as needed.

Position Summary
We’re seeking a float pool staff RN to join our incredible hospital-based team and support a variety of our acute care departments. Responsibilities
- You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
- You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Washington State Registered Nurse license (RN)
- Refer to CPR and ALS policy grid for requirements
- Minimum (2) years of experience
- Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
