Diverse Computing, Inc. (DCI) is looking for a highly driven mid-level Systems Administrator to join our team. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position that is best performed as a hybrid of both in office and remote work.

The focus of this position is to work closely with our clients to fully understand and support their business processes and technical needs as it pertains to our products. In addition to supporting our software solutions, the successful candidate will have the ability to assist clients with enterprise level networking equipment and support. Requirements
As a Systems Administrator II you will:
- Manage system infrastructure including, databases, testing computer equipment, firewalls, and other software and hardware
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that may arise
- Monitor the systems daily and respond quickly to any security breaches, usability concerns, application errors, or performance issues
- Assist other administrators and technicians with tier-2 support issues
- Make recommendations for future server and software upgrades
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
- Establish backup systems, verify that the backups have been completed, and test the backups
- Perform DR activities as needed
- Build and maintain internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
- Study technical and patch literature to keep abreast of the latest technologies and patch updates
- Assist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current system
- Troubleshoot and debug production software
- Analyze requirements then disseminate, evaluate, articulate, and design solutions
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
- Research ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
