Accounts Payable Coordinator

This position is partially-remote, and will require you to work in-office 1-2 days a week,  based on the business/team needs, at your manager’s discretion. Technical equipment will be provided.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Monitor escrow account outstanding balances and uncleared disbursements

• Resolve outstanding balances and outstanding checks

• Own the 1099 date entry and billing as well as vendor liasoning

• Share your knowledge and assist with training and onboarding new colleagues and transfers

• Review of daily and monthly reconciliations

• Ensure tax and payoff checks have cleared the bank

• Monitor the petty cash report

• Monthly underwriter remittance

• Conduct daily positive pay review and decision

• Follow up on outstanding checks reports

• Review and verify invoices and check requests

• Cuts check and submit for payment via USPS or FedEx daily

• Work with the settlement closer to release escrowed funds

• Any other tasks assigned by management

What we are looking for:

• 1+ year experience in a role or internship in a related industry. Related experience includes involvement in Finance, Mathematics, Insurance, Banking or other similar industry.

• Experience in the Title Insurance industry preferred

• Familiarity with Google platform and Qualia a plus
