About the role

Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician. Operates hyperbaric chambers and monitors and controls the pressure inside the chamber. Prepares patient for hyperbaric treatments and documents all treatments. Arranges for maintenance of the chamber and ensures its cleanliness.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certification as a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) preferred with active work towards certification within a couple of years from hire.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience is required.
