Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Administrator II Generalist, to join our team in Springfield, VA.

CLEARANCE

  • Active TS/SCI (existing clearance required to start)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph

LOCATION

  • Springfield, VA (onsite)

OVERVIEW

  • Provide O&M support for IT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team to deliver high-performance, highly available server technology solutions.
  • Install, configure, secure, test, sustain, upgrade, remediate, and decommission IT cross-domain solutions (CDS).
  • Administer a combination of Microsoft Windows and Linux-based platforms for a client-server solution allowing access to Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS) and Operational Domains.
  • Provide O&M support to server-based solutions across various major technology vendors (Citrix, Esri, McAfee, Microsoft, Red Hat, SolarWinds).
  • Support mid-level internal escalation tier(s) for the Server O&M team.
  • Collaborate with IT team to maintain CDS-based networking devices and components.
  • Contribute to documentation for the team's solution system(s), sub-system(s), and component(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with O&M support of enterprise server OSs (Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and server applications and services.
  • 3+ years of experience with MLS and/or CDS implementations, integrations, accreditations, and operations.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux-based platforms (specific experience with RHEL 6 and/or 7 is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in secure processing environments adhering to U.S. Government Information Assurance and Security standards (DISA SRGs and STIGs).
  • Strong understanding of core IT Networking protocols (SSH, SCP, FTP, SSL, PIJ, VPN, SNMP).
  • Experience in Helpdesk coverage.
  • Minimum credential requirements for a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF)
  • CompTIA Security+ ce; or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC); or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

NICE TO HAVE

  • GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN) certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 10 certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2016 certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 enterprise desktop offerings within virtual and CDS implementations.
  • Experience with enterprise Windows Server 2012 or newer.
  • Experience with scripted technologies (PowerShell on Linux, Bash, Perl, Python).
  • Hardware and software system validation testing experience.
  • Troubleshooting, critical thinking, and analytical expertise.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise-grade IT solutions.
  • Experience with Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASAs).
  • Familiarity with enterprise Microsoft server-based applications (Exchange, IIS, SQL, SharePoint) and services (Active Directory, DNS).
  • Experience with Red Hat Satellite and Security Enhanced Linux (SELinux) configurations.
  • Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and SolarWinds Orion Platform.
  • Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) implementations, specifically Citrix XenDesktop.
  • Familiarity with IT Networking technologies (routing and switching, TCP/IP, traffic analysis, packet capturing and analysis).
