Overview
Job Summary: The Vice President of Business Development plays a pivotal role in shaping the KPH’s future growth by identifying new business opportunities and partnerships. Reporting to the President and CEO of KPH Healthcare while working closely with and receiving direction from KPH divisional presidents, this role will be essential in ensuring KPH and it’s divisions remain competitive and adaptive to evolving market dynamics.
Scope of Responsibilities: The Vice President of Business Development will partner with divisional leadership to identify and evaluate business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and to create executable plans to support the growth within, and across KPH divisions. The Vice President of Business Development will also work to identify opportunities for KPH to expand into new business offerings. The Vice President of Business Development is responsible for driving growth within KPH’s non-retail segments to include PBM, specialty, infusion, 340b, mail and discount card offerings. The Vice President of Business Development collaborates cross functionally on key initiatives, serving as a resource to enhance revenue growth and market positioning in line with KPH objectives.
Responsibilities
Job Duties:
- Market analysis to understand trends, competitors, client and patient needs across business segments both within current and potential markets.
- Market analysis shall include both needs of individual divisions within KPH as well as global business offerings of KPH Healthcare Services.
- Strategic planning with individual divisional leadership teams to create executable plans to support divisional growth targets are met.
- Identify key growth opportunities, develop market strategies and executable plans for individual divisions within KPH or cross-divisionally to drive profitable growth and market expansion
- Maintain and expand 340b relationships while providing support to existing clients
- Develop and manage relationships with current and prospective manufacturer partners and other stakeholders related to those activities (data aggregators, hub services, etc.)
- Assist in the budgetary planning process and development of divisional business plans as appropriate
- Represent KPH Healthcare Services or it’s commercial divisions as appropriate at external events to include industry functions, community involvement or trade shows
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, clinical, sale, service) to enhance sales materials and proposal content
- Actively participate in special projects and initiatives, such as new program launches or regional market expansions.
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training and coaching programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred: Master’s Degree or higher preferred
Experience:
- Preferred: 10+ Years experience in the pharmacy leadership
Special Conditions of Employment

- Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
Compensation:
$210,000-$225,000 Annual
