VP, Creative Director

Please note: This a hybrid role located in Dallas, TX. You will have an opportunity to collaborate in-person three days a week at our Dallas office while maintaining flexibility for remote work.  

Golin Dallas is looking for a VP, Creative to be part of building something new and you’ll shape its next phase. In this role, you’ll be the hands‑on own projects end-to-end, from ideation to polished decks.

Riding the wave of recognition and award-winning work, the VP, Creative has an incredible opportunity to toggle between earned media, social, broadcast, and translate strategic insights into visual stories that help promote and protect the brand in Dallas and keep Golin on top.

Our ideal candidate is experienced, self-managed, collaborative across disciplines, and highly skilled in creating clean, on-brand decks in PowerPoint and Google Slides, especially under tight deadlines.  

 

What you’ll do: 

• Own end-to-end creation of full-bleed, minimal-copy decks in PowerPoint and Google Slides—pitching earned-media, social-led, and broadcast campaigns for clients and new business.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (art directors, writers, designers), driving insight, storytelling, and polish while acting as the senior design voice.
• Self-manage multiple briefs—balancing rapid-turn real-time social activations, strategic pitch decks, and proactive passion projects—so every deliverable lands on time and on point.
• Spot cultural and social trends and weave them into design solutions that break through, setting the bar for craft and ongoing innovation.
• Handle light animation and video-editing tasks (e.g., CapCut, basic After Effects), supporting in-house production needs with efficiency and flair. 

What you have: 

• 8–10 years of agency design leadership, with a portfolio showcasing social-led, earned-media, and broadcast work that drove headlines or accolades.
• Deckcraft mastery—full-bleed visuals, concise copy, and storytelling that makes complex ideas feel effortless.
• Exceptional self-management: you juggle stakeholder inputs, champion a clear creative POV, and keep collaboration friction-free.
• A collaborator’s spirit and “adult-in-the-room” presence—able to mentor teammates, push back constructively, and align cross-functional partners.
• Deep real-time social fluency and cultural trend-spotting; data-curious enough to speak ROI when it matters.
• Basic animation/motion-graphics and video-editing proficiency to tackle light production requests.
