We are looking for a Health Information Operations Manager that will be the tip of the spear for our service offering. Our ideal candidate is passionate and capable in 3 core areas: Operations, Account Management, and People Leadership. What does this look like?  You Will: 

• Be the primary Account Manager to our customers 
• Mentor hourly staff and supervisor team for further professional development 
• Responsible for P&L management ($2M+) 
• Oversee the safeguarding of patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards 
• Own the management of patient health records
• Participates in project teams and committees to advance operational strategies and initiatives
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to better business results  

What You Will Bring to the Table:  

• Experience in a healthcare environment 
• Passion for identifying process improvements and providing solutions 
• Demonstrated ability in leading employees and processes successfully (20+ team members)
• Coordination experience with site management on complex issues 
• Knowledge, experience and/or training in accurate data entry, office equipment and procedures
• Openness to travel up to 50% of the time to multiple sites based on the needs of the region
• 2+ years of Health Information Management (HIM) related experience
• Provider Care Solution experience
• ROI (Release of Information) exposure 

Bonus Points, if you have: 

• Prior ROI management experience.
• RHIT or RHIA Credentials
• MHA or HIM related degree

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges are developed with the support of benchmarks (competitive San Francisco rates for US-based roles) and industry best practices.  We’re building a high-growth, high-autonomy culture. This means we default to simple job titles (e.g., Software Engineer) rather than complex ones (e.g., Senior Software Engineer). The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $95,000. 

Even though this is a remote role, you may need to travel onsite.
