About the role

Steer is looking for a creative professional to fill our Marketing Coordinator, North America position. The Marketing Coordinator, North America will be an integral member of our expanding team and will provide support and assistance in growing our North American business. This newly created position is multi-faceted, challenging, and perfect for someone with a keen sense of design. The role will involve creating video and photography content library to support our growth in North America while working closely with our Senior Marketing Manager on assigned marketing tasks to execute our annual plan for the region.

This person will be a contributing member of Steer’s North American/International Business Delivery Group, which is comprised of finance, human resources, marketing, legal, L&D, recruitment, facilities, and IT experts. In combination, these disciplines provide us with the breadth and depth to deliver integrated and innovative solutions to the organization.

Requirements

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of our video content library for North American by creating, editing, and posting engaging video content on multiple online platforms
  • Create an annual video content calendar that ties into our strategic growth plans for North America
  • Provide monthly analytics reporting for the region
  • Lead photography shooting schedules for the business in North America
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the creation of video scripts that align with our overall digital marketing strategy and brand guidelines
  • Handle video and photography production tasks, such as setting up video session lighting, audio mixing, and sound enhancements
  • Ensure proper tagging, description, classification, and captioning of all video content
  • Keep abreast of new and emerging video production trends and marketing best practices

Other assigned responsibilities

  • Contributes content to the social media content calendar and helps with developing internal and external communications
  • Assists in developing marketing materials including copy, layout, and design elements for brochures, collateral, and promotional materials.
  • Provides support in planning for our ongoing series of thought leadership webinars and podcasts
  • Monitors annual conference planner to ensure consultants marketing needs are supported
  • Develops familiarity with and knowledge of local markets and clients and supporting other business development needs of the firm regionwide

Software proficiencies

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite: specifically in video production tools.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and web analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of Drupal or similar CMS software.
  • Previous experience utilizing CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.


Education, experience, and skills

  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Video Production, or an equivalent level of experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Marketin
