Essential Functions:
- Log in all received samples according to proper procedures, including labeling, logging, and acknowledging.
- Maintain a clean and organized lab space.
- Prepare and analyze samples under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.
- Prepare reagents and various media for testing as instructed.
- Perform routine maintenance of laboratory instruments and workspace.
- Document work performed according to established protocols and compile analysis data into lab reports.
- Conduct specific analyses or portions of analyses as directed by the Laboratory Manager.
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware.
- Report non-conformances to the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) and Laboratory Manager.
- Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned.
