Stain/Sealer Sprayer

Job Summary

The Stain/Sealer Sprayer is responsible for applying various stains, sealers and spray-ons, including wiping to matching color.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Verifies door and case part tag to correct color.
• Applies one wet coat of stain on parts.
• Sprays 2.5 – 3 wet millimeters of sealer on cabinet parts.
• Applies finishing process according to Dura Supreme’s quality standards.
• Cleans and maintains spray and booth equipment daily.
• Mixes finishing materials as required.
• Uses standard samples as required.
• Maintains consistent spraying for finish line flow.
• Participates and contributes to a Work Team environment and follows Quality Control checks.
• Follows all Safety Rules and contributes to a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Education, Training or Experience

• High School education or up to one-month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Shop Environment

Employees must be able to cope with climates; endure heat and cold conditions in the shop. Fast paced workloads and high noise levels are normal. Paint fumes and exposure to chemicals associated with an industrial paint department may be present. Personal Protective Equipment as required by OSHA will be provided by the Company.
