About the role

We are hiring for a Research Associate I/II to join our growing team. The probe qualification Research Associate will support the research staff in characterizing affinity reagents using different protein assays. The role will require the candidate to test reagent candidates through the qualification pipeline including testing on the Nautilus platform. As the candidate gains understanding of pipeline, they will help advance candidate binders for use in evaluating proteomic samples. This role provides the opportunity to work in a cross functional collaborative team and allowing growth and development into new areas of the organization.
Role and Responsibilities
- Execute experiments in collaboration with senior research staff
- Collaborate with multiple teams performing affinity reagent discovery and characterization
- Routinely perform and troubleshoot multiple formats of ELISA and bead-based immunoassays
- Evaluate affinity reagent performance on the Nautilus platform
- Routinely present results/findings/data to various teams within the department
- Contribute to authoring Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Test Procedures, Master Batch Records, and other documents
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science Field
- 1 year of experience working with affinity reagents such as antibodies
- Previous experience with ELISA or bead-based immunoassays is preferred
- Experience with microscopy is a plus
