ABOUT THE TEAM
Bestow’s finance team plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of the organization, from managing and optimizing the company's financial resources to enabling effective decision-making and sustainable growth. Finance comprises various teams, including accounting, budgeting, and strategic planning, providing financial insights and support to facilitate all operations.
We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join the team! This will be a Hybrid role and will need to be in our Downtown Dallas office twice a week.
This role will report directly to our Accounting Manager.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Process Monthly Journal Entries
- Create and support invoicing to clients based on key terms of contract
- Review trial balances and complete flux analysis and provide detailed explanations
- Create and provide audit support to external auditors
- Complete general ledger and bank account reconciliations
- Provide work papers to support the FPA team
- Comply and maintain accounting policies
- Provide financial support for compliance filings
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- Proficient with Google Apps, Zoom, online chat/communication tools, and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to apply accounting policy to Bestow’s financial process.
- Highly organized, and you pay close attention to detail
- Deadline-oriented with an analytical thought process
- Basic understanding of Accounting Principals
- Ability to manage data to produce journal entries
