As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will provide Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) support for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of EHS implementation and compliance programs including but not limited to: OSHA General Industry and Construction standards, hazardous materials, cryogenics, compressed gases, confined space, lasers, robotics, fall protection, PPE, hazard communication, crane safety, lockout/tagout, and radiation safety. You must have a passion for continuous improvement of a safety culture, building agile safety processes, and for solving complex problems and providing operable solutions and be capable of acting with minimal direction on your initiative. You will be responsible for helping to maintain a culture that emphasizes leadership, accountability, discipline, and attention to detail at all levels.

Responsibilities:
- Create and perform environmental and due diligence audits to ensure compliance with the Blue Origin Environmental Health and Safety Manual and all applicable regulations and/or guidelines established by OSHA, EPA, NFPA and other applicable government regulatory agencies.
- Maintain or exceed compliance with all applicable regulations established by the EPA, CERCLA, RCRA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory agencies
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert in Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health matters
- Review, improve and support current policies and plans as required.
- Interpret new regulations, determine their applicability
