Job Description

Position Responsibilities
•      Assures all plant safety/accident prevention policies are adhered to as stated in the coworker handbook.  This includes maintaining a safe work environment and safe work practices, and accident investigation when necessary.  Holds coworkers accountable for non-compliance.

•      Responsible for the safe and efficient startup and shutdown of injection molding machines and supporting equipment as well as ensuring the machinery is producing quality product.

•      Ensures that housekeeping standards are met throughout the facility.

•      Supports the direction set forth by the shift supervisor.

•      Partners with the Shift Supervisor to communicate all performance issues.  Trains all direct reports to follow all rules, programs and procedures.  Coaches coworkers to ensure compliance.

•      Responsible for on-the-job training of coworkers.  Instructs new or reassigned coworkers in the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
