Customer Service Representative / Receptionist

This is a full time, hourly, non-exempt position
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
The Customer Service Representative/Receptionist has the primary responsibility of maintaining the reception area, staffing the switchboard, communicating information to staff members, and assisting in special projects as assigned. This position provides excellent customer service by responding promptly to all incoming phone calls and greeting visitors in a prompt and courteous manner.
What are the essential duties day to day?
- Greets and directs visitors to appropriate personnel in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Answers all incoming phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner, directs callers to appropriate personnel and/or records accurate messages which are distributed in a timely fashion to appropriate personnel.
- Assists donors, accepting donations and gifts-in-kind, and ensures completion of proper paperwork.
- Provides cross training to switchboard back-ups, and develops schedules for the same.
- Assisting in special projects as assigned

- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience
