Senior Group Accounting Manager (all genders)

Your Role

Our Group Accounting team is looking for a talented Senior Group Accounting Analyst. This position will be based out of Razor corporate offices in Berlin, Germany. You will build together with us a best-in-class finance engine across multiple entities and jurisdictions. This position is ideal if you are looking for a high-intensity environment with outsized exposure to top management. You will be working on high-impact initiatives with various members of Razor Management across Commercial, Growth and Operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• supporting various aspects of our accounting and reporting process
• preparing and coordinating group IFRS financial statements for 150+ entities as well as the audit of the group's IFRS financial statements
• thriving the preparation of the monthly financial statements for several subsidiaries and geographical areas
• ensuring appropriate documentation of accounting and reporting conclusions for complex, highly judgmental business transactions
• maintaining and driving accounting performance through KPIs, new policies and projects to reduce manual effort
• preparing accounting memos and related accounting entries, in particular related to IFRS3, 9 and IAS36
• actively coaching and developing the accounting team

 

Your Profile

To succeed in this role you:

• have 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or a related analytical field, preferably working with Big 4 accounting firms and Fortune 500 clients
• are carrying a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance or accounting, a MBA or CPA is a plus
• demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting close process, IFRS and consolidation
• are experiences in writing and documenting complex accounting memos
• process outstanding analytical and project management skills with an aptitude for information technology
• have strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
• are business fluent in English, any other language would be considered as an asset

Ideally you are also knowledgeable in the following areas:

• Knowledge of HGB/UK Gaap
• Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up
• Experience in global e-commerce or related industry
• Aptitude for leading teams, influencing and galvanizing others to follow you toward a solution
