What you'll do 
SAP Datasphere Data Marketplace is an innovative attractive solution running on SAP Business Technology Platform as part of our overall SAP Datasphere offering. We provide THE data sharing platform, allowing our users and data providers to offer their data in a unified way ready for consumption, while data consumers benefit from data being offered in a predefined format with automated data integration capabilities. 

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer (f/m/d) ready for a new challenge. You are someone that is as customer-focused and passionate as we are about designing great software and having a good time doing it. You are organized, positive, creative, and always focused on the user. You know when to make decisions and when to ask questions. You’re obsessed with detail and love finding new ways to solve users’ problems. Above all, you love to build terrific products.

You will build full stack products, from pixel-perfect UIs to highly available backend systems. You work with engineers across the company to ship modular and integrated products. You feel at home working with Node.js backend parts as well as being comfortable with the JavaScript/SAPUI5 stack accordingly frontend. You own your code from ideation to development, through QA and support. You participate in code reviews, sharing your experience and best-practice knowledge with colleagues.

What you bring       

As a Software Developer, this is what you bring to the table:

• Excellent development skills in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript and Node.js.
• Very good comprehension skills, high quality commitment, and self-motivating working style.
• You already gained experience in enterprise-grade software projects and are able to navigate the big world of JavaScript and Node.js development confidently.
• Experience with design patterns for both front end and micro-services to build end-to-end solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Experience in the full life cycle of software development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Fluent both written and spoken in English and optionally German.

The SAP Datasphere Data Marketplace team was formed in 2020 and is currently 9 people strong. We are a young, diverse team with people coming India, Argentina, and Germany. Our office is located in Walldorf and we appreciate coming together on a regular basis in office and for team outings every now and then. We value diverse insights and discussions and are looking forward to have you as an engaged and pro-active new team member with us. 

You will work closely with your peers and other teams in the SAP Datasphere space to ensure the best possible implementation of requirements, customer feedback and delivery on time.
