What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Verify credentials, monitor entry and exit activity, and support the protection of sensitive equipment, materials, and information in accordance with post orders and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with emergency situations, escalations, and coordination with onsite personnel and/or public responders while maintaining professional firearm handling and readiness standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
