Job Details:

Rogers Group Inc - Mitchell Quarry - Mitchell, IN

Full-Time: 2nd shift: 2pm – 10pm

Wages starting at $26.26/hr. This includes a $25.26/hr base pay plus a $1.00 shift differential for entry level candidates. 

Mitchell Crushed Stone is an open-pit limestone mine/quarry seeking a General Utility / Helper for our operation located in Mitchell, IN. 

The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including but not limited to, shoveling/spraying stone from around conveyors and catwalks in and around the plant and belt line. Skid steer operation throughout the site.��
• Potential opportunity to learn and operate various other types of equipment as deemed necessary at managements discretion.  
• Identify equipment problems and report them to management.
• Light assistance with some maintenance work as needed
• Complete equipment pre-shift reports, workplace exams and JSA’s as necessary. 
• Various other duties or tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Ability to maintain safe working conditions
• Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
• Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment and other duties as assigned by management.
• Ability to learn quickly
• Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.
