Policy and Dispute Analyst - HRSA - NPDB - MD

Description

The Gilchrist Law Firm has a great opportunity to work with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) in the Disputes Resolution project. As a Policy and Dispute Analyst you will participate in the Dispute Resolution process and support the Policy & Disputes Branch Chief by tracking and maintaining the information used for Dispute Resolution review. Your main function will include but is not limited to:

Responsibilities/Duties

• Review assigned cases including all documentation from the subject of the report and reporting entity.  
• Request additional supporting documentation from the subject and reporting entity as needed and follow up if necessary, via secure messaging, phone calls, or other allowable mechanisms to obtain the necessary supporting documentation. 
• Conduct analysis of the record based on NPDB reporting statutes and regulations to determine the reportability of the action, accuracy of the report, and eligibility of the reporting entity to submit the report. 
• Draft the case decision letters and participate in the internal review processes per protocol. 
• Coordinate submitting the final signed decision letters to all the parties and closing the case, including sending to the reporting entity a request for corrections or voids when applicable. 
• Undergo annual refresher of the HHS Records Management Training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in records/document management
• Must be a US Citizen
• Experience working in Federal Agencies
