About Agile Occupational Medicine:

Agile Occupational Medicine is a leading occupational medicine group with a network of 24 clinics and one surgery center dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to businesses and their employees across California and Yuma, Arizona. We specialize in ensuring the health and well-being of workers through a range of medical services, including injury care (workers’ compensation), physical examinations (employer services), and commercial (urgent care).


Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting our organization’s Human Resources functions. The HR Generalist will own the delivery of our benefits and leaves programs along with other HR Generalist responsibilities.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Administers human resources plans and procedures for various client personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbooks and policies & procedures manuals.
  • Conducts an annual review of benefits packages including retirement plans and ensures continued competitiveness and attractiveness to employees.
  • Manages the benefit renewals for clients which includes partnering with benefit brokers to find affordable benefit plans, recommending benefit packages to clients, hosting employee information sessions, and processing benefit elections as needed.
  • Administer employee leaves of absence. Track all absence status, documentation, and return to work dates with employees and their managers.
  • Conducts staff exit interviews as needed.
  • Review employee complaints, help facilitate action plans to resolve issues and ensure concerns are accurately and timely documented.
  • Maintains monthly benefit reconciliations to minimize errors within client benefit programs.
  • Maintain HR records, training logs and generate reporting from employee database.
  • Assist with performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Delivery and deployment of training courses to support ongoing learning and development in clinics with occasional travel onsite.
  • Support in recruiting and new employee onboarding efforts such as needed.
  • Review compliance with federal and state employment and safety regulations.

Requirements

  

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Knowledge of employee benefits; previous experience in designing and implementing benefits program required
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in the healthcare industry and working knowledge of a PEO is a plus


Salary range is $85,000-$95,000 annually. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
