Registered Nurse Full-Time Days

POSITION SUMMARY:

Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to clients to include but not limited to, administering medication, taking vitals, assessing medical needs.   

Essential Duties:?

• Assisting with the taking and recording of daily client vital signs and assessments? 
• Administering medications and treatments as per provider protocol? 
• Assisting with client admissions and discharges? 
• Recording client observations and reporting to the medical team as needed? 
• Compassionately interacting with the client population to encourage engagement in treatment? 
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment? 
• Attending staff trainings and meetings as required by the employer? 
• Communicating with the pharmacy as needed? 
• Completing client nursing admissions not limited to: intake surveys, blood draws, TB testing, GeneSight swabbing? 
• Follows all policies and procedures with regard to client information protection, including alcohol-drug client confidentiality and HIPAA? 
• Other duties as assigned?

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:?

• Current unrestricted licensure in GA or TN? (as required by facility) as a Registered Nurse.? 
• Associates Degree in Registered Nursing  
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret policies and directions, and present information effectively, both orally and written? 
• Ability to work with both chemically dependent and individuals in psychiatric care in a non-judgmental, compassionate fashion? 
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources? 
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.? 
• Experience working with people in recovery and/or in mental health treatment a plus
