Job Overview

Komatsu is currently sourcing for a Senior Project Manager  - Business Transformation for our Milwaukee, WI location.  Komatsu offers competitive salary, excellent benefit package and merit/bonus potential.

Key Job Responsibilities

Oversee short and long-range project planning and execution teams ensuring alignment with business unit wide strategic initiatives. Ensure project scope, schedule and budget are clearly defined and realized

Work with teams to develop projects from concept through final execution based on BU priorities to include - aftermarket, products, engineering, operations, commercial, HR, and Finance

Establish project standards aligned with scope of work and oversee all controls, schedules, budgets, and defined standards

Lead key project kick-off, ad hock meetings, and planning activities with key stakeholders

Employ knowledge of project planning and engineering fundamentals, and business acumen to effectively track and forecast progress through defined project milestones

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience is required

Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including effective listening and presentation skills

Ability to formulate strategy based on complex inputs and develop realistic implementation plans

Ability to engage others in forward thinking dialog, facilitate consensus, obtain buy-in of senior leadership and drive for successful adoption of change initiatives

Ability to deliver sustained results through others

Ability to lead teams and work with various leaders in the organization

Additional Information

Support the identification of fiscal year projects – ensuring they accurately reflect the work planned, are achievable, and align with BU goals

Work with leadership teams to develop business strategies that optimize profitability

Maintain consistent communication with Komatsu teams, adjusting as necessary to deliver on scopes of work through adjusting project deliverables as necessary to meet customer BU needs

Develop and maintain project and planning standards in Microsoft Project templates, SAP general task lists and customer relationship management tools

Support change and communications efforts by driving consistency in how we’re sharing information and managing the impact of new ways of working
