Camp Nurse (Part-Time)
National Math CampsAbout the role
Description
We are seeking a part-time registered nurse for Camp Sierpinski, a residential summer program designed for mathematically talented students ages 11–14. In summer 2025, we’ll run two 2-week sessions with 30 students each, hosted at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh. Campers take advanced math classes and enjoy a variety of activities, from board games to ultimate frisbee.
The nurse’s role focuses on reviewing health records and overseeing medication management. An on-campus student health center will be available 24/7 to handle any injuries or illnesses that arise during camp. We do not anticipate that this role will require being on-site during the camp sessions except for camper arrival days and a short staff training.
