We are looking for a Warehouse Maintenance Lead to join our team in Freeport, TX.

This is a BASF direct position that is area-specific (Poly warehouse and loading areas) and is responsible for the safe, quality, and cost-effective execution of maintenance work in an assigned area. This function provides technical expertise to support maintenance activities and remove barriers to facilitate execution productivity.

As a Warehouse Maintenance Lead, you will create chemistry by...

• Leading autonomous maintenance of the Poly warehouse team
• Being a repair expert for critical maintenance (in assigned area) with a good working knowledge of all crafts
• Assisting the maintenance gatekeeper and area scheduler as necessary to confirm prioritization
• Owning the permitting processes in the warehouse and train others to write permits
• Ensuring notifications and work orders are completed (with failure causes codes identified and entered) and closed in a timely manner - TECO
• Indirectly development of talent for contractor personnel
• Having familiarity with operating control systems

If you have...

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse or production environment

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a maintenance environment, including continuous improvement, troubleshooting and autonomous maintenance
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred
