Team Leader Central Supply Planning (m/f/d)

As Team Leader of Supply Planning (m/f/d), you are an experienced key player in our agile team of Sales & Operations Planning experts. You are responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling supply for our entire climate solutions offering by heading a team of 6 Supply Planners. As the ideal candidate you will have extensive knowledge of production planning and control, experience in leading teams and the ability to solve complex problems.Your work is the basis for production planning of all of our plants globally.

We are looking for you at our location in Allendorf (Eder).

Your impact 

• Head and develop the Central Supply Planning team (6 HC)
• Steer Production Planners for monthly production planning of ~10 plants globally 
• Scenario creation, evaluation and implementation in planning in the event of constraints or overcapacities
• Prepare & conduct monthly production plan review & release meetings
• Collaboration with other departments to ensure that production processes meet requirements
• Propose and implement solutions to improve production plan fulfilment
• Support S&OP management with KPI reporting as well as risk assessments and mitigation activities

Who you are

• Master’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics or another relevant field of study
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a supply planning / production planning role
• Very structured thinking & excellent problem solving skills as well as the ability to creatively brainstorm scenarios to solve supply constraints and make decisions
• Team oriented working style with proven trackrecord in leadership roles
• Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
• Hands-on mentality and able to act adequately both at board level and shop floor level
• Knowledge in the use of production planning software (SAP S4/Hana and IBP)
