Transportation Project Manager

STV’s Georgia Transportation Team is looking for a Transportation Project Manager.  This would be a good opportunity for you if you are interested in leading and developing a team while using your technical expertise to deliver on technically challenging and rewarding projects.

Project Management responsibilities include:

• Coordination of design development and managing the timeline and scope of the project

• Leading the design team to deliver on schedule and budget

• Assisting with the development of specifications, cost estimates, reports and final bid package

• Attending project meetings with clients, sub-consultants, and the project team

• Interfacing with client technical staff and project managers

• Mentoring supporting highway design staff

Design responsibilities include:

• Providing professional design services for transportation improvement projects for the GDOT and local County/City agencies

• Providing professional design services for transportation improvement projects

• Developing design plans including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, typical sections, superelevation data and miscellaneous roadway detail sheets

• Developing design plans including roadway geometric design, cross sections, construction staging and maintenance of traffic (MOT). Experience in, drainage, utility and/or signing & pavement marking design is a plus

• Developing Design Exceptions and Deviations

• Designing to adhere to ADA Standards

• Coordinating design development and providing technical direction and mentorship to the design team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering

• Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)

• GDOT and/or municipal client experience (required)

• Minimum of eleven (11) years’ of experience in transportation projects

• Open Roads Designer experience (preferred)

Compensation Range:

$99,966.00 - $133,287.00
