Transportation Project Manager

STV’s Georgia Transportation Team is looking for a Transportation Project Manager. This would be a good opportunity for you if you are interested in leading and developing a team while using your technical expertise to deliver on technically challenging and rewarding projects.
Project Management responsibilities include:
Coordination of design development and managing the timeline and scope of the project
Leading the design team to deliver on schedule and budget
Assisting with the development of specifications, cost estimates, reports and final bid package
Attending project meetings with clients, sub-consultants, and the project team
Interfacing with client technical staff and project managers
Mentoring supporting highway design staff
Design responsibilities include:
Providing professional design services for transportation improvement projects for the GDOT and local County/City agencies
Providing professional design services for transportation improvement projects
Developing design plans including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, typical sections, superelevation data and miscellaneous roadway detail sheets
Developing design plans including roadway geometric design, cross sections, construction staging and maintenance of traffic (MOT). Experience in, drainage, utility and/or signing & pavement marking design is a plus
Developing Design Exceptions and Deviations
Designing to adhere to ADA Standards
Coordinating design development and providing technical direction and mentorship to the design team
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
GDOT and/or municipal client experience (required)
Minimum of eleven (11) years’ of experience in transportation projects
Open Roads Designer experience (preferred)
Compensation Range:
