Warehouse Custodian - Lebanon - Part-Time- Day

General Summary

Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintaining the warehouse.
• Cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms.
• Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dust mops floors. Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms.
• Wet mops rooms, halls, stairways, and public areas.
• Cleans fixtures, tops of windows, door frames and high areas using a ladder.
• Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials.
• Removes waste and dirty linens from work area and places in specified bags or containers.
• Assists in emptying trash, cleaning of tables and wiping out refrigerator in lunchroom.
• Performs a variety of clerical duties including assembly of customer packets, consignment forms, document scanning and sealing mail.
• Assists the warehouse staff assembling ambulatory and bath safety products.

Common Expectations:

• Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
• Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

Minimum Education:

• None Required

Work Experience:

• Less than 1 year Relevant experience. Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, understand and speak English at a level which enables the individual to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job.
