Job Description Summary

The 2nd Shift Coated Buckets Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the second shift team. This role involves promoting a safe and efficient work environment, maintaining quality standards, executing daily management, and leading employees to ensure reliability and consistency on the production lines. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the second shift team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
  • Coordinate daily activities and tasks, ensuring all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor employee performance, providing feedback, coaching, and support to foster professional development and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with other departmental supervisors to align processes and achieve overall production goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, timekeeping, and reporting.
  • Address and resolve operational issues promptly, escalating to higher management when necessary.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience manufacturing.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
  • This position is 100% onsite position at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC Garlington site

Desired Characteristics

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay Transparency

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $74,800.00 – 93,500.00 USD Annually.  The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 5% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.  This posting is expected to close on or after September 3, 2025.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
