Job Summary

Under general supervision to serve as an assistant and resource to teachers in the supervision, teaching, observation and training of students; including those students with a wide variety of physical limitations or special needs who may require specialized health care; to assist and engage in the preparation and assembling of teaching material; and to do related work as assigned. Employee is under the direction of the administrator and indirectly supervised by the teacher(s), school nurse(s), and/or behavior specialist(s).

$22.20-$28.31

Requirements / Qualifications

Please attach to your application a copy of your paraprofessional certificate, resume, and three letters of recommendation. Vacaville Unified School District employees, have first priority. 

• High School Diploma
• Paraprofessional Exam or at least 48 semester units at an institution of higher learning
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (3)
• Resume
• Must be able to pass the required Strength and Agility Test
