EVS Assistant Director

Job Description:

The Environmental Services Department plays a vital role in ensuring that the hospital remains clean and safe for patients, staff, and visitors. As a member of this team, the main duties will be to clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital including patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, and meeting rooms.

Assistant Director, Housekeeping

Job Description:

• The Assistant Director, Environmental Services (EVS) & Linen is responsible for assisting the Director of EVS & Linen in directing and overseeing all aspects of the operational need of the EVS & Linen Department.
• You will lead, coordinate, mentor, develop and assign tasks to your EVS & Linen teams and assures that staff is trained in accordance with The Joint Commission guidelines, federal, state, and local regulations.
• In the absence of the EVS & Linen Director acts as the administrative liaison between key contacts and the department and deliver the highest possible level of service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Required Experience: 2+ years of supervisory experience in support service-related fields with high customer services and/or 2+ years of Environmental Services.
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of support services, military, housekeeping, environmental services, and/or facilities maintenance experience.
