Full Time Med Surg Registered Nurse

As a Med Surg Registered Nurse at NCG Associates, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a medical surgical unit. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical surgical patients
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions and progress
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized care
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Follow established infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with current nursing practices

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years, 1 Year of RN Hospital experience
• Strong knowledge of medical surgical nursing principles, procedures, and standards of practice
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred

Base Hourly Pay/Salary Range: Mid Point Pay: $33-$40
Shift/Weekend/On-call differentials:
Evening 1500-2230: $3.50
Night 2300-0730: $5.00
Weekend 1500 Friday-0659 Monday: $2.25
