Senior Python Developer - Virtual Environment Lifecycle Management

We are the organization bringing the Nokia applications together into a coherent suite:</p> <ul> <li>Through the development and integration of software components on various infrastructure</li> <li>Bringing advanced capabilities from industry and inside Nokia</li> <li>Used by the Nokia BUs, as a base for their innovative applications</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>CSF Team that you'll be part of, focuses on core component deliveries to Nokia applications, Open source software integration and development of addons with both internal and public clouds. You will work in an Agile team environment in all phases of the development lifecycle.<br/><br/> </p> <p><u>As part of our team, you will:</u></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, maintain and integrate high-quality, efficient, and reusable Python code</li> <li>Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers</li> <li>Explore and implement best practices for continuous integration o virtual environments</li> <li>Take and contribute to short / mid-term decisions in own area<br/><br/> </li> </ul> <p>Our requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Extensive experience with Python, Ansible and Bash development (4+ years)</li> <li>Extensive experience Linux software packaging and integration</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills</li> <li>Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities</li> <li>Openstack and VMware</li> <li>Clean code expert with broad knowledge of software engineering practices</li> <li>Practical knowledge of Git, Gerrit, Jenkins</li> <li>Excellent communication (English) &amp; cooperation skills to collaborate with people across the world contributing to the product</li> </ul> <p>We will be more interested if you also have experience in:</p> <ul> <li>Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes</li> <li>Practical knowledge of cloud native architecture principles</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b><span>Come create the technology that helps the world act together<br/> </span></b><span><br/> Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks.
